General Inquiries
What exactly does WaveWired Entertainment do as a publisher? We act as the administrative and creative backbone for your compositions. This includes registering your songs with Performance Rights Organizations (PROs), collecting mechanical and digital royalties, and actively pitching your music for synchronization opportunities in film, TV, and advertising.
What is the difference between my “Writer’s Share” and “Publisher’s Share”? In a standard publishing agreement, the “Writer’s Share” is paid directly to you by your PRO. WaveWired manages the “Publisher’s Share” to fund the administration, legal protection, and global marketing of your catalog.

Submissions & Signing
How can I submit my catalog for publishing consideration? We are always looking for innovative “architects of sound.” Please use our official submission portal to send high-quality links (SoundCloud, Dropbox, or Disco). We kindly ask that you do not send unsolicited MP3 attachments via email to ensure your files are processed correctly.
Does WaveWired offer co-publishing deals? Yes. We offer a variety of deal structures, including traditional publishing, co-publishing, and administration-only deals, depending on the needs of the creator and the stage of their career.

Royalties & Sync
How often are royalty statements issued? Transparency is a core value at WaveWired. We typically provide detailed accounting statements on a semi-annual basis, though specific schedules may vary depending on the terms of your individual contract.
How does WaveWired handle “Sync” (Synchronization) licensing? Our creative team maintains direct relationships with music supervisors and advertising agencies. When a sync opportunity arises, we negotiate the best possible terms for your work and ensure all licensing fees are collected and distributed promptly.
Can I still release music independently if I sign with WaveWired? Our publishing agreements generally cover the underlying composition (lyrics and melody). Depending on your contract, you may still retain the rights to your “Master” recordings, allowing you to release music independently while we manage the publishing side.

Administration
Do I need to be a member of a PRO (BMI, ASCAP, SESAC) before signing? While it is helpful to be registered, it is not a requirement to start the conversation. If you aren’t yet affiliated, our team can guide you through the process of selecting the right PRO for your goals.
