Michael O. Robertson is a seasoned entrepreneur, IT specialist, and professional services expert with over two decades of experience spanning two continents. As the founder of HRXPRESS and WaveWired Entertainment, Michael combines technical precision with a deep-seated passion for community service and global connectivity.

Professional Journey

Michael began his career in Ghana, where he established a strong foundation in Information Technology. After certifying in computer hardware, software, and networking, he served as the Head of IT for major organizations, including Living Streams International and Basek Computers. His entrepreneurial spirit first took flight with the launch of Micro Channel Systems, where he both repaired systems and mentored the next generation of IT students.

Since migrating to the United States in 2012, Michael has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to lifelong learning and professional excellence. He successfully pursued further education at Jefferson High School and Gwinnett College (Network Administration), while gaining diverse operational experience in supervisory and quality control roles at Direct Technology and AES Clean Technology.

Current Ventures

In 2019, Michael launched two distinct companies that reflect his multifaceted expertise:

• HRXPRESS: A comprehensive professional services firm specializing in individual and business taxation, immigration form preparation, visa application assistance, and Notary Public services. Michael is a graduate of the Block Academy (Taxation & Tax Laws) and an Immigration Forms Specialist certified by the National Notary Association.

• WaveWired Entertainment: A forward-thinking record label dedicated to building “bridges” within the global entertainment industry, connecting artists and performers across the globe to create a more unified creative landscape.

Personal Life & Values

Born in Accra, Ghana, to Ishmael Okang and Doris Quartey, Michael is the sixth of eight siblings. He began his formal education at Asem Mixed Elementary in Kumasi before returning to Accra for middle and high school.

His journey from a “rocky” high school path in Ghana to becoming a US citizen, a college graduate, and a successful business owner in the United States is a testament to his resilience. Michael is a proud father of four: Michelle, Michael Jr., Leilani, and Gabrielle.
